Highlight of the year! Bring your family and friends to this really traditional village fete with its special attraction: the duck race along the river Rother (like a bigger version of Pooh sticks, but with prizes).

The fete is held in the lovely setting of Trotton Place, with the kind permission of the owners, and includes children's games, craft, garden, home produce, bric-a-brac, tombola and other stands, plus a fabulous tea tent with home-made cakes and cream teas.

The Fete opens at 2pm and the prize draws and duck race usually take place between 4 and 5 pm.

We always welcome volunteers to help with the tea tent, games, stands, duck race, etc. Please email Kathryn McKellar or Anne Stephens

Sponsor a duck and it will be added to the sack to be tipped from Trotton bridge. Run along the picturesque riverside to the finish line and share the excitement as our catchers see which ducks win the prizes for the first three (and last) places!

One of the favourites: the doughnut tree - all you can eat for free - as long as you don't use your hands or drop one!! This is part of the extensive children's games area set in this beautiful garden.
