Famous theatre director writes about Trotton church wall-paintings in The Times
Dominic Dromgoole, a former artistic director of the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and art writer, best known for directing Shakespeare's Globe: Henry V (2013) and Making Noise Quietly (2019), attended a wedding at St George's church in Trotton recently and came back this week with a view to writing about the 600+ year old wall-paintings. Parish council offers free logs to residents for Christmas!
As the parish council is obliged to pay for a diseased tree to be felled in Chithurst graveyard, it is offering the logs to residents from two sites in the parish as a Christmas present!

Parish council investigates right of way dispute
The parish council has had some complaints about notices restricting pedestrian access on the track from Terwick Lane through Goldrings Warren to Keepers Cottage.

Parish council needs two new members
The parish council has announced the resignations of Darren ("Nobby") Stiles and Barry Cooper. Anyone willing to consider joining the PC is invited to talk to the clerk or any other member of the PC about what the role involves. Parish council 2019-20 accounts open to public
After the AGM of the parish council, the accounts for the last year were made available for residents to inspect. A copy is attached and members of the public are welcome to contact the clerk (see bottom of screen) to receive a copy of the signed annual return.
