Scatter poppies for Remembrance Day

Sun, 11 Nov 2018 10:00

Please join us at Trotton War Memorial, just at the entrance of St George's, for two minutes silence at 10am, after the 9am church service. Everyone will be invited to take part in planting native wildflower bulbs and scattering poppy seeds as a lasting 'Remembrance Garden' to honour those who served in The Great War. We hope this will be a tactile way to introduce the importance of remembrance to the children of the village and to create a positive legacy in memory of those who gave their lives.

All will be invited to refreshments in the church from 11am-12.30pm
